FEEDING PROGRAMS

Helping The Community

At BBB Ministries of Uganda, we are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in addressing the main issue of hunger. We have two different Feeding Programs.

Our Kids Feeding Program is every Saturday and feeds anywhere from 500+ kids that are orphans, street kids or kids from our village communities. Along with the hot food these children receive, they also to do VBS and play games. The program is meant to feed the stomach, brain and soul. This program costs $210 every Saturday for all the children. When there's extra food remaining, the women that have labored to prepare the meal get to enjoy it as well. This hot meal of beans, cabbage, rice and potatoes is sometimes the only nutritious meal these children receive during the week.

Our second feeding program is monthly and it's for the entire village of Bugira, where our Campus is physically located. This program feeds up to and sometimes even more than 1,500 people. We have these gatherings with one single hope, that the love of Christ and the Gospel are planted and sewn in every heart. This costs us about $2150usd. each time, as we provide meat too. It's a rarity that people around here can afford anything besides Posho and Beans, which is their daily one-time meal.
